Indonesia Railway Vision 2030 – The Investment Value of the Railway Projects Reach Over USD 67 Billion. Building and Enlarging the Railway Business at the only Specialized event for Railway Industry at RailwayTech Indonesia 2019. The growing interest of the railway industry, creating a strategic opportunity to develop the national industry. Railway transportation mode is the most economical, environmentally, efficient and effective mode for mass transport. Currently, Indonesia only has 4,069.4 km of active railway line and 3,708 km non-active. The government is targeting to build a new rail reaching 3,258 km.
According National Railway Vision 2030 from Indonesia Ministry of Transport, the Indonesia railway projects will be implemented until 2030 with investment value over USD 67 billion. This giant fund would be used to build LRT (Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Surabaya, Bandung), MRT (fase-2 and fase-3), High Speed Railway (Bandung and Surabaya), 3,258 km railway line in a few strategic areas, increasing the number of trains, and the construction of new stations. Moreover, S&P Global Ratings raised Indonesia’s rating to “investment grade”, bringing Indonesia is a stable country with decent of investment. It is boosting growth and demand from all rising industrial sectors included railway industries.
Reflecting a big success in the 2nd RailwayTech Indonesia 2018 and proved as ASEAN’s Largest Trade Show for Railway Industry 2018. The expo was held together with IIBT 2018 as well as INAPA 2018 and succesfully welcomed 1.023 exhibiting companies and 23.353 trade attendees from over 41 countries.

The 3rd RailwayTech Indonesia 2019 taking place from March 20 – 22, 2019 at JIExpo, Jakarta – Indonesia, is expanding 2x bigger scale.
